Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination of transportation operations. This position requires strong communication skills, an understanding of logistics, and the ability to manage fleet operations effectively. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and routing of transportation activities, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Duties： • Make an appointment with LA/LB Ports and customers. • Assign drivers" work efficiently. • Follow and enforce safety procedures to ensure that all drivers and loads arrive safely and on time. • Interact with drivers, ocean carriers, terminals and customers for any problems related to the shipment(s) or empties. Requirements： • 2-3 years working experience of Port Dispatch. • Proven experience in dispatching specifically in LA/LB area. • Problem-solving skills, high energy level, dependable and hard-working. • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. • Ability to perform well under pressure, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
