Import Operations Specialist / Freight Forwarding / Logistics

Job Responsibilities Manage the full operational process for U.S. import ocean and air shipments, including arrival coordination, customs clearance, container pickup, and final-mile delivery. Coordinate with ocean carriers, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and warehouses to ensure smooth shipment handling at every stage. Enter and maintain shipment orders, transportation details, and operational records in the GoFreight system. Review import documentation, including Bills of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoices (CI), Packing Lists (PL), and other required documents. Monitor ISF filing, customs clearance, cargo release, container pickup, transportation, and final delivery status. Handle shipment inspections, delays, returns, and other exceptions, while communicating promptly with customers and service providers. Communicate in both English and Chinese with customers, overseas agents, customs brokers, carriers, and other business partners. Qualifications Remote work is available.At least 1 year of hands-on experience in U.S. traditional freight forwarding, including import ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, or import operations.Solid understanding of U.S. import logistics procedures, with practical experience in ocean imports, air imports, customs clearance, and final-mile delivery. Experience with GoFreight is preferred.Fluent in both English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to communicate and coordinate effectively.Able to work independently and resolve operational issues.Reliable, stable, and interested in long-term career development.
